1. Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using any Bevars website, platform, application or API, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use a Bevars product on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Our products and branches

Bevars Technologies Limited operates through the following products, which together make up all of our brands, branches and trading names:

References in these Terms to "Bevars", "we", "us" and "our" are to Bevars Technologies Limited (RC 9456753), GC92+4JX, Oduduwa Dr, University of Lagos, Lagos 101245, Nigeria, and references to our "products" or "platforms" are to the products listed above and any future product we operate. There are no other brands, branches or trading names through which the company provides services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Nigerian law to use our services. Some products are available only to businesses, financial institutions or verified professionals, and may require KYC/KYB verification before access is granted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use our products for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud or other financial crime;
• misuse our security products - including scanning, probing or testing any system you do not own or are not expressly authorised to test;
• interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts;
• reverse engineer, scrape, resell or create derivative services from our platforms except as expressly permitted;
• upload malicious code, falsify identity or verification data, or circumvent screening and controls;
• use our platforms to infringe the rights of any person or to harass, deceive or harm others.

We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these Terms, or where required by law or regulation, without prejudice to any other remedy available to us.

5. Accounts and security

Where a product requires an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of registration information, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at adams@bevars.com if you suspect unauthorised use. We may require additional verification (including KYC/KYB checks) as a condition of access, consistent with our regulatory obligations.

6. Intellectual property

All Bevars products - including software, APIs, analytics, risk models, reports, designs, trademarks and content - are and remain the intellectual property of Bevars Technologies Limited or its licensors. Product names and marks (including Bevars, Verifow, Finhaq, TrustLayerTrade and IntelFlow) may not be used without our prior written permission, except to refer to us accurately. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

7. Product websites and third parties

Our websites link to our product sites and to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content or services. Where one of our products is used by a bank, fintech or other institution in relation to its own customers, that institution is responsible for its relationship with those customers, and our role is governed by our agreement with that institution.

8. Compliance-related use

Verifow, Finhaq and IntelFlow provide detection, screening and intelligence outputs intended to support - not replace - human judgement and your own compliance and security decisions. Alerts, risk scores, verdicts and reports are informational, and you remain responsible for the decisions you take based on them, including any regulatory filing decision. We cooperate with regulators and law enforcement as required by Nigerian law.

9. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all threats, vulnerabilities, fraud or financial crime will be detected. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bevars Technologies Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of our products. Our aggregate liability for direct damages arising out of or relating to these Terms or our products shall not exceed the fees you paid us for the relevant product in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bevars Technologies Limited, its directors, employees and agents from claims, damages, liabilities and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of our products.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or connected to these Terms or our products shall first be raised with us in good faith at adams@bevars.com; if unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lagos, Nigeria.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version on this page governs your use of our services, and material changes will be highlighted here. Continued use of our products after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
